Two new car rentals in Chattanooga, Tennessee, are being investigated by police for possible sexual assaults on drivers in the last year
Two new cars have been reported stolen in Chattanooga.
The first was a car that had been reported missing.
It was reported stolen from a motel in Chattanooga on April 9.
On Wednesday, the car was reported missing again.
On April 14, the same car was stolen from the same motel.
Both vehicles were later reported stolen again.
According to Chattanooga Police Chief Brian Smedley, both were reported stolen within the last two weeks.
On Tuesday, the Chattanooga Police Department received a tip from the car rental company about a possible sexual assault on one of the drivers.
The car rental reported the incident on April 18.
The Chattanooga Police are looking into whether the crimes are connected.
